This is the first of a two-part series designed specifically for aquatics operators new to DEI. In this session, we will explore the systemic barriers that impact access to aquatics and water safety, and examine why diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) are essential to preventing drownings and creating safer, more inclusive aquatic environments. Ideal for those who are new to DEI concepts or looking to deepen their understanding, this session will provide the foundational knowledge needed to align your work with meaningful, equity-driven practices.
