Objectives

At the end of this course, participants will:

  1. Understand the Importance of Diversity in Aquatic Roles Participants will be able to explain the significance of diversity in the aquatic profession and how it positively impacts the community and facility environment.
  2. Be able to design job descriptions and announcements that attract a diverse range of applicants by using inclusive language and highlighting the facility’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
  3. Be able to communicate effectively to both internal teams and potential candidates about their facility’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring this message is evident in all stages of the hiring process.
