Description

The focus of this session is on the importance of creating a culture of safety at aquatic facilities, and how to build that culture using resources available from Family Foundations. Colin's Hope and the Joshua Collingsworth Memorial Foundation will present real-life examples that demonstrate ways you can involve staff, lifeguards, patrons, and the community at large in creating a culture of safety together that raises water safety awareness- ultimately preventing drowning incidents. The approach is to describe simple programs and simple funding strategies that will encourage you to take action in your community.
